Tenants of a housing project in Chicago simply know her as a “slumlord.” She is the former manager of Grove Parc Plaza, a controversial low-income housing project which is in Obama’s former state senate district. According to the Boston Globe, the housing complex was considered uninhabitable by unfixed problems, such as collapsed roofs, broken plumbing, fire damage, and uncontrolled rats! All the govt subsidy $ vanished…
In ’06, federal inspectors rated the condition of the complex an 11 out of 100 – so bad the buildings will be torn down.
She is also linked to a series of shady real estate scandals involving convicted felon and former Obama fundraiser, Tony Rezko. Jarrett has also been caught up in the Blagojevich scandal as Obama’s Candidate #1 for his senate seat. Most of Blagojevich’s corrupt negotiations with the Obama team centered on the possible Jarrett appointment.

Nothing at all, she is business as usual if you are from Chicago. However, if you do not approve of Chicago politics, there is a lot wrong with her.
Remember, Tony Rezko is not an Italian as his name seems to indicate. He is a Syrian, Rashid Antoin Rezko and he secured the loan for Obama’s Chicago house from Saddam’s bagman for the UN Oil for Food Program. The bagman being a cousin of Saddam.
